Matt has a long-standing background in software engineering and architecture.

As a developer, Matt has worked for a number of digital agencies and companies in both full-time and contract roles. He has worked in and led development teams on a range of full-stack projects, gaining detailed experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

As an architect, Matt has partnered with clients and helped employers to deliver solutions across a range of industries including industrial, waste management, travel, and retail. He has worked as part of governance teams with responsibility for compliance (e.g. GDPR & PCI DSS) and technical strategy, and has worked with enterprise stakeholders at all levels.

Matt is Comptia Security+ certified and has a strong interest in security, particularly in the context of software development and architecture.
